About the Role
This position provides technical support, guidance, and problem resolution for computer-based gaming and amusement machines. The role supports the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing operation of ICT systems integrated within gaming equipment, including hardware, software, networking, and control systems. This is a full time role attracting a Salary range $95,000 to $101,000 plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for software, hardware, and ICT systems
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems related to computer infrastructure and applications
- Determine software and hardware requirements to develop appropriate technical solutions
- Respond to user inquiries regarding system performance, software functionality, and hardware faults
- Install, configure, and download approved software and system updates
- Adapt and modify existing programs to meet user and business requirements
- Ensure the efficient and effective use of applications, systems, and ICT equipment
- Design, update, and maintain websites in accordance with organisational requirements
- Repair, replace, and maintain peripheral equipment, including terminals, printers, and modems
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and resolutions
- Providing guidance, instruction, and basic training to users on the use of computer systems, applications, and ICT equipment
Skills and Experience
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and application support
- Ability to support and maintain business-critical software platforms
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or
- Equivalent industry experience in an ICT support or systems support role
- Experience with enterprise software applications is desirable
- Experience with website maintenance and basic web technologies is advantageous
