About the Role
Mills Recruitment is partnering with a global battery technology and energy storage solutions provider, to source a Senior Customer Satisfaction Engineer to support its growing AIDC business across Southeast Asia. This is a remote-based role with significant regional travel, ideal for an experienced after-sales engineer who enjoys solving complex technical issues and working closely with customers. 
The Challenge
Take ownership of after-sales support for AIDC projects across Southeast Asia, responding to critical site issues and ensuring reliable performance of energy storage systems.
The Opportunity
A high-impact regional position supporting customers across Southeast Asia. Candidates with AIDC after-sales experience in Malaysia or Thailand are highly preferred, while experienced ESS professionals will also be considered.

What You Will Do

• Lead after-sales technical support, troubleshooting and emergency response for AIDC and energy storage sites.
• Deliver technical and service standards training to customers and regional service providers.
• Conduct customer visits, capture VOC feedback and turn insights into product and service improvements.
• Coordinate site inspections, preventive maintenance, defective product analysis and repairs.
• Manage regional service providers, spare parts, tools and equipment to maintain service quality and responsiveness.

 Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
• Energy storage (ESS) after-sales/service experience is mandatory, with 4+ years of relevant energy storage product experience.
• 3+ years of local overseas work experience; AIDC after-sales experience in Malaysia or Thailand is preferred.
• Comfortable working remotely and willing to travel 40% or more across Southeast Asia.

Skills and Attributes
Strong logical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills, with basic knowledge of quality management systems and failure analysis. You will be comfortable working under pressure, responding to critical site issues and demonstrate a stable career history.
