What You Will Do

• Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with company vision.
• Lead new product development activities from inception to product launch and customer acceptance including overseeing the design, testing, and production of new aluminium/casting related products.
• Ensure cost competitiveness and continuous improvement in aluminum casting processes.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and marketing to align R&D with business goals.
• Oversee quality compliance, customer service operations, and performance metrics.

Who We Are Looking For
Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Metallurgy or a closely related/relevant field.
• 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in R&D and  aluminum casting processes.
• Proven track record in aluminium alloys, extrusion processes, and advanced casting technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multifunctional teams and deliver complex projects.
• Metallurgy R&D experience is preferred
• Japanese nationality or Japanese language proficiency is required, as the role involves frequent coordination with stakeholders in Japan
• Relocation support provided
