What You Will Do
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing and commissioning of data center HVAC systems to verify operational performance against design requirements.
- Conduct temperature, humidity, airflow, pressure, and cooling load testing, including performance verification and airflow distribution analysis.
- Diagnose HVAC system issues, recommend corrective actions, and support system optimization initiatives.
- Prepare testing plans, schedules, technical reports, and data analysis documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful system integration, final verification, and acceptance.
Who We Are Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in HVAC, Building Environment and Equipment Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Thermophysics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC systems testing and commissioning.
- Experience with HVAC systems in data centers or high-precision computer room environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with data center standards such as TIA-942 and GB50174.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is an advantage.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including precision air conditioners, AHUs, cooling towers, fan coil units, and dehumidification systems.
- Proficient in using testing instruments such as anemometers, airflow meters, pressure sensors, and temperature and humidity recorders.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data analysis capabilities.
- Effective report writing and technical documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented team player with the ability to perform in fast-paced site environments.
