EHS Deputy Manager

The Challenge
Support the implementation of a robust EHS system while ensuring full compliance with Malaysian regulations (DOSH, CIDB, FMA) across a fast-paced construction environment.
The Opportunity
Work closely with an experienced EHS Manager, engage with key stakeholders, and play a hands-on role in strengthening safety culture and processes on-site.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: RM13,000 – RM15,000 per month
Competitive package aligned with experience (details shared during the hiring process).
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities
- Support implementation of project EHS systems and standards
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checks
- Track and follow up on corrective actions and compliance records
- Coordinate audits and inspections with clients, authorities, and third parties
- Assist in incident investigations and safety training initiatives
Who We Are Looking For
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, M&E Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 6 years of construction or M&E EHS management experience. - Familiar with Malaysian EHS regulations, construction safety standards, and risk control systems.
- Able to prepare RA, PTW, HIRA, and Incident Reports
- Malaysian Green Book certification required; NEBOSH/OSHA preferred.
- Experience working with subcontractors or site teams
- Basic understanding of incident investigation and risk prevention
- Experience in construction safety or EHS-related roles
- Fluent in English with Mandarin communication ability.
