I\u2019m excited to share some significant news for our clients and the broader Australian economy. Mills Recruitment has been granted an On-Hire Labour Agreement by the Department of Home Affairs.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This approval allows us to sponsor overseas-based skilled workers and place them into critical roles which will prove extremely valuable in helping to solve the severe skills shortage currently affecting Australia.<\/span><\/p>\n

As early as 2023, I could see that Australia\u2019s talent pool wouldn\u2019t be enough to meet the demands of some of our most important industries. Despite our best efforts to place Australians in these positions, many critical roles have remained vacant due to a lack of specialised skills locally. With this new agreement, we can now actively tap into our global network and start filling those roles.<\/p>\n

This is a big win not just for our clients but for the whole country. The skills shortage has led to delayed projects and missed deadlines in industries vital to our economy. Now, we can take meaningful action to bridge that gap.<\/p>\n

This On-Hire Labour Agreement gives Mills Recruitment the ability to sponsor skilled workers from overseas and labour-hire them to our clients across Australia.
