Our client is a boutique, growing Accounting practice based in West Perth in newly refurbished offices who specialize in providing tax and business advice to its diverse client portfolio. An opportunity has presented for an Accountant with 2-3 years experience to join their growth focused business.
They are offering a generous remuneration package for the successful applicant, CA/CPA support as well as opportunity for further career progression and training as you progress through to Senior level and beyond.
Role and responsibilities:
- Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
- Working directly with clients and providing solutions on general tax matters.
- Providing assistance in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and researching tax matters where required.
- Liaising with and building relationships with clients, the ATO and other bodies as relevant and required.
- Providing advice to a large and varied client base.
- Managing and monitoring staff performance and reviews and conducting training sessions.
The Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- 2-3 years Australian tax and business services experience
- Part CA/CPA qualified
- Experience dealing directly with clients is essential
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong team mentality and ability to work closely with peers
