HD Fitter | Underground Mining | 2/2 FIFO | Darlot

Mills Recruitment is currently seeking 4 x experienced Underground HD Fitters for ongoing work with our client’s Darlot operations.
This role will commence on a labour hire basis, with the intention of moving suitable candidates across to permanent employment after approximately 4 months.
You will be working on a 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth, flying out of Terminal 2 via Virgin. The first week of the roster will be night shift.

• 4 x ongoing HD Fitter positions
• Darlot underground operations
• 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth
• Initial labour hire with permanent sign-over pathway
• Casual $98.29 an hour.
• Permanent salary after sign-over: $172,200
• ASAP start available

Equipment you’ll be working on:

• Sandvik underground drills: DD421, DL430
• CAT R1700 loaders
• CAT R2900 loaders
• Volvo A45G articulated trucks
• Volvo integrated tool carriers / ITs
• Normet charge rigs

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant trade qualification
• Underground mining experience
• Strong diagnostic and breakdown experience
• Experience across underground drills, loaders, trucks and charge rigs
• Ability to work safely in an underground environment
• Availability to start ASAP or with short notice
