Mills Recruitment are working with a leading EPCM that is currently needing an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor
THE ROLE
Reporting into field construction management, you’ll supervise and coordinate subcontractor activity across planning, safety, quality and technical delivery. Day to day, that means:
- Monitoring subcontractor schedules, resourcing, and material and equipment requirements
- Reviewing construction methods and manning charts, and coordinating external interfaces so works align with the master schedule
- Verifying installation against drawings, specifications and vendor requirements
- Enforcing site policies, procedures and work rules
- Supporting field engineers, leading hands and craft professionals in interpreting engineering and vendor documentation
- Working with the design team on constructability
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Schedule 26 Statutory Electrical Supervisor qualification — essential
- Degree plus 8–10 years’ relevant experience, or 12–14 years’ experience without
- Detailed working knowledge of WA Electrical Safety Requirements
- Familiarity with the WHS Act (2020) and WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022
- Experience supervising and administering works contractors in an EPCM environment
- Solid grounding in Critical Risk Management and multi-discipline construction
