The Role You’ll be working within council parks, gardens and streetscape teams, with a strong focus on mowing and grounds maintenance.

Duties include:

• Ride-on mowing across parks, reserves, verges and open spaces – essential
• Extensive turf maintenance and commercial mowing
• Verge mowing, brush cutting and edging
• Parks, gardens and streetscape maintenance
• Operating tractors and other gardening equipment
• Litter collection and general grounds maintenance
• Assisting with traffic management and general labouring

What You’ll Need

• Strong commercial mowing experience, particularly ride-on mowers – essential
• Previous parks, gardens, turf or streetscape experience
• Minimum MR Driver’s Licence – essential (HR highly regarded)
• White Card – essential
• Proven ability to safely operate and maintain mowing equipment
• Police Check
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Reliable, hardworking and physically fit
• Ability to work outdoors in a team environment
