Boilermaker – Workshop Based
Location: Forrestfield, WA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading manufacturer of heavy vehicles and trailers in Forrestfield to recruit experienced Boilermakers for their workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, safety-focused company and work in a high-quality manufacturing environment.

About the Role: In this role, you’ll carry out MIG and flux core welding, fabricating structural components for heavy vehicles and trailers while ensuring all work meets strict quality and specification standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and flux core welding to a high standard.
• Fabricate and assemble structural components for heavy trailers and equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans accurately.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all work.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workshop environment.

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking or Metal Fabrication is preferred but not essential.
• Proven experience in MIG and flux core welding on structural steel.
• Forklift ticket (essential).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
