A well-established Western Australian engineering and fabrication group is looking for an Account Based Marketing Manager to take its customer marketing face to face. The business designs, engineers and manufactures custom safety and maintenance solutions and a range of standard products for major mining, resources and Defense customers across Australia.
The role
You’ll lead marketing for a short list of high-value accounts, working side by side with the sales and consultation team. You will:
- Build account plans for key mining, energy and Defense customers
- Plan and run site visits, customer workshops, executive hosting and lunch-and-learns
- Own the company’s presence at major expos and industry events
- Create account-specific proposals, presentations and case studies
- Work with the sales team to turn target accounts into pipeline
- Track results and report on the return from account activity
About you
- Around 5–8 years in B2B marketing, business development or account management, ideally in mining services, industrial supply, engineering or Defense
- Proven experience running account based marketing or targeted programs for key accounts
- Confident presenting to senior engineers, procurement and executives
- Strong event and relationship skills, and willing to travel to site
- Comfortable using a CRM; HubSpot experience is an advantage
