We’re partnering with a well-established industrial business to recruit an Asset Coordinator to join their busy operations team based in the eastern suburbs.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in transport, logistics, workshop coordination or heavy vehicle operations, who enjoys variety and is comfortable balancing yard-based duties with administration.
This is a Monday to Friday role offering stability, variety and long-term career opportunity.
The Role
Reporting to the Workshop / Operations team, you will be responsible for a mix of yard coordination, equipment movements, registrations and administration, supporting assets from delivery through to customer handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate asset registrations and attend the Department of Transport (DOT) as required
- Prepare VL17 documentation and registration paperwork
- Manage and track assets arriving into the yard
- Update internal systems and boards to track equipment movement and delivery progress
- Support sales, hire and workshop work orders
- Raise purchase orders and maintain documentation relating to inspections and compliance
- Create pre-delivery work packs
- Coordinate movement of assets through the workshop, paint booth and wash bay
- Manage yard organisation and off-site storage
- Coordinate customer deliveries and hook-up combinations
- Assist with plant and DG registrations
- Coordinate equipment movements to and from external service providers
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- HC Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Forklift Ticket / LF Licence (essential)
- Strong computer and administration skills
- Experience in transport, logistics, workshop, fleet or heavy equipment environments
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to confidently manage both hands-on and office-based tasks
- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday – 38 hour week
- Standard working hours generally 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Some flexibility required, with occasional earlier starts (from 7:30am) to support deliveries and operational requirements
