A large holistic firm of 50+ staff covering all areas of tax, advisory, financial broking, planning for diverse client base. The are looking to appoint a Business Services Manager in the accounting and tax division, requiring several years experience at this level.
 
The key point up front: this is a pathway role. They are not just after a capable manager for today — they want someone with genuine aspirations to become a Director/Partner and an equity holder which is backed by a structured development and succession program, mentoring, and a clear route to directorship and ownership.
 
The opportunity: 

• Lead a portfolio of business services and tax clients across compliance and advisory
• Be the trusted day-to-day lead on client relationships
• Review work and mentor junior staff
• Contribute to business development and the firm’s growth

What they are looking for:

• CA/CPA qualified, with solid business services and tax experience at manager level
• Strong technical grounding across accounting and tax
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confident, polished presentation and communication
• A real ambition to progress to Director/Partner and take up equity
• A natural relationship-builder with leadership potential
• Desirable: business development / quoting experience, SMSF exposure, and a background across a range of industries
