We’re looking for a hands-on Irrigation Maintenance Operators to join a Northern Suburbs local council. If you know your way around irrigation systems, enjoy fault-finding and like working outdoors, this could be the role for you.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems across council-managed sites, including:

• Inspecting, testing and maintaining irrigation systems
• Fault finding and repairs to pipes, valves, sprinklers and controllers
• Programming irrigation controllers
• Minor irrigation upgrades and modifications
• Using multimeters, cable locators and other diagnostic equipment
• Working closely with Parks & Gardens crews
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What you’ll need

• Experience in irrigation maintenance, installation or repairs
• Commercial irrigation is a MUST
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• Safety Awareness Training / White Card
• National Police Clearance
