Senior Civil Engineer – FIFO | Eva Copper Mine (QLD)
Greenfield Project | Contract to End of Year (Extension Likely)

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading project team to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer for a major greenfield mining development at Eva Copper Mine (QLD).

This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on delivery, quality assurance, and engineering coordination.

The Role You will play a key role in ensuring civil works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.

• Coordinate on-site engineering and QA processes
• Ensure compliance with design, safety, and project standards
• Support design reviews and constructability improvements
• Monitor progress and report against schedules
• Manage QA documentation (ITPs, NCRs, check sheets)
• Resolve technical queries and support site teams

Key Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Strong site-based civil engineering experience
• Proven background in earthworks and roadworks (mining projects)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in 12d and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of QA processes and documentation

Personal Attributes

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
• Adaptable and proactive in dynamic project environments

• Accommodation: On-site
