About the Role
This role supports the delivery of structural design packages across concrete and structural steel scopes. You’ll produce high-quality models and drawings, contribute to planning and coordination activities, and support junior team members within a collaborative project environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for concrete and structural steel works with minimal supervision
• Produce and review design outputs to ensure compliance with approved civil/structural standards and applicable codes
• Assist with steel detailing and the preparation of construction-ready design documentation
• Coordinate and review bulk material take-offs and material requisitions relevant to the structural discipline
• Support the development of work plans, schedules, and budgets for assigned design tasks
• Provide on-the-job guidance and technical support to junior designers
• Ensure all civil/structural designs meet relevant regulatory, safety, and installation requirements

About You

• Significant experience in civil/structural design
• Strong experience producing structural drawings and CAD models for concrete and steel structures
• Proficiency in MicroStation, Tekla, Smart3D 
• Familiarity with Australian or international design codes and engineering standards
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
