An established global engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their mining & metals team, supporting major resource projects across Australia and internationally.

In this role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of civil and structural components across a range of complex projects. You’ll be involved from early scoping and client engagement through to detailed design, construction support, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver civil/structural design for industrial and mining infrastructure
• Produce and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and material take-offs
• Conduct structural analysis (static, dynamic, seismic) using 3D software (e.g. STAAD, Strand7)
• Support cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and change management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design challenges
• Provide technical support during construction and project execution

About You:

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• ~5-10 years’ experience in mining, resources, or heavy industry projects
• Strong experience designing industrial structures and foundations
• Proficient with structural analysis tools and international design codes
• Confident working across full project lifecycles in an EPC/EPCM environment
