Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading engineering and manufacturing company to hire a Finance Manager based in Kulai, Johor. This role offers the opportunity to lead treasury operations, cash flow management, and regional banking activities while supporting finance initiatives across the business.
 
About the Role
The Challenge
Take ownership of the company’s treasury function by managing cash flow, banking operations, foreign exchange activities, and financial controls while ensuring efficient day-to-day treasury operations.
 
The Opportunity
Work closely with regional offices, banking partners, and internal stakeholders to support treasury improvements, ERP optimization, and finance projects within a growing regional business.

What You Will Do

• Manage treasury operations, cash flow, banking transactions, and payment processes
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, treasury reports, and cash analysis for management
• Liaise with banks and regional offices on treasury transactions, banking facilities, and financing matters
• Support budgeting, financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing activities
• Drive treasury process improvements, ERP optimization, and banking integration initiatives

Who We Are Looking For
Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting, with exposure to cash flow management or corporate treasury preferred
• Good knowledge of treasury operations, banking activities, financial instruments, and foreign exchange (FX)
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar financial systems
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin is essential to liaise with regional offices, banks, and stakeholders

Skills and Attributes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good understanding of treasury controls, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Well-organized, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
