Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading financial institution in Malaysia to hire a Senior ETL Data Operations professional, supporting enterprise ETL operations, batch processing, and critical data pipeline environments across large-scale banking systems.

You’ll oversee business-critical ETL operations and batch processing environments, ensuring stability, timely delivery, and operational excellence across enterprise data pipelines and reporting functions.

What You Will Do
– Monitor and manage enterprise ETL batch cycles, ensuring successful execution within SLA timelines.
– Troubleshoot ETL and batch-related incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and drive permanent fixes.
– Support data quality, reconciliation, and operational governance across enterprise data pipelines.
– Optimize ETL job performance, automation processes, and operational efficiency.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production stability, regulatory reporting, and business-critical processing cycles.
 
Who We Are Looking For
Preferred Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
– 8+ years of experience in ETL operations, data operations, production support, or enterprise data environments.
– Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools/frameworks such as Informatica, Nifi, or similar technologies.
– Experience with SQL, data warehousing, batch scheduling tools, and performance tuning.
– Experience with Teradata, Hadoop, Spark/Pyspark, and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
 
Skills and Attributes:
– Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
– Experience supporting L2/L3 production operations environments.
– Good understanding of ETL workflows, data lineage, and dependency management.
– Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
– Ability to work in fast-paced, business-critical enterprise environments.
