Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading data center construction and engineering company to hire a Safety Supervisor (Yellowbook) to be based at their project site either at Banting or Kapar, Klang to support the delivery of large-scale data center construction projects.

Take ownership of site safety on a dynamic construction project by ensuring EHS compliance, identifying risks, and promoting a strong safety culture across all site activities.

What You Will Do
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure EHS compliance and proper PPE usage. 
• Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and support risk assessments and corrective actions. 
• Monitor high-risk activities including hot work, lifting, confined space, and electrical work. 
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and promote site-wide safety awareness. 
• Report incidents, assist investigations, and coordinate with site teams and subcontractors on safety matters. 

Who We Are Looking For  
Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, certificate, or diploma in OSH, construction, or a related field. 
• Minimum 2 years of construction site safety experience.
• Valid DOSH Yellow Book certification.
• First aid certification.
• Experience in data center, industrial, or fast-track projects is preferred. 
• Familiarity with Malaysian occupational safety regulations, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and contractor safety management.
• Experience conducting site inspections, incident investigations, and safety audits.

Skills and Attributes

• Familiarity with EHS documentation and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems. 
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety risks. 
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
