About the Role

The Challenge You will help safeguard systems, data, and operations in a regulated financial ecosystem, ensuring strong governance, risk control, and cybersecurity compliance aligned with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).

The Opportunity This role puts you at the centre of IT security and regulatory compliance, working closely with senior stakeholders and bank clients while strengthening frameworks that support trusted financial services.

What You Will Do

 
Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks
• Monitor and ensure compliance with BNM technology, cyber, and operational risk requirements
• Conduct IT risk assessments, compliance reviews, and internal audits
• Support incident management, security assessments, and vendor risk reviews
• Engage with bank clients, auditors, and regulators on security and compliance matters

Who We Are Looking For Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Security, Risk Management, Finance, or related field
• 3-6 years’ experience in IT risk, GRC, or cybersecurity compliance
• Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, or banking environments
• Hands-on exposure to BNM regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS frameworks

• Strong understanding of IT governance and risk management
• Detail-oriented and structured in documentation and controls
• Confident engaging with clients, auditors, and regulators
• Proactive, analytical, and collaborative working style
