Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to join their team and play a key role in developing winning proposals and tenders for complex mining and resources projects.

This is an opportunity for someone with strong mining industry experience who understands project delivery environments and enjoys working across engineering, commercial and client-facing teams to develop high-quality submissions.

The Opportunity
Reporting into the project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end proposal and tender process — from initial bid/no-bid assessment through to submission.
You will work closely with engineering, project and commercial teams to coordinate compelling, technically sound and commercially competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead bid/no-bid assessments in line with company procedures
• Develop proposal and tender strategies, plans and submission timelines
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality proposals
• Manage the preparation, review and submission of tender documentation
• Prepare proposal content, schedules and fee estimates
• Work closely with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure submissions align with client requirements
• Manage tender processes to ensure deadlines, quality standards and governance requirements are met
• Support continuous improvement of proposal processes and systems

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy or a related discipline
• 10–15 years’ experience within the mining and resources industry
• Experience working within project delivery teams
• Strong understanding of engineering, mining and resources projects
• Proven experience coordinating complex proposals, tenders or bids
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities

Highly Regarded

• Previous experience within an EPCM engineering consultancy environment
• Exposure to mining studies, engineering design or project execution
• Experience preparing proposals for major resource projects
