The Client
Our client is a mid-tier National and International practice specialising in Tax, Business Services, Audit, SMSF and Financial Planning work. The firm is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager or Supervisor with 6+ years experience and has 1-2 years in a role assisting in the management of junior team members and looking to transition their experience across to a firm offering potentially greater career opportunities ahead. The role would suit someone from a mid-tier firm or larger boutique with experience handling listed and non-listed business clients, large SME businesses as well as HNW’s and multi-entity family groups.
Key elements of this role:-
- A pro-active team of Directors and a supportive culture where you will learn and develop your existing client management skills
- Manage a team of 4 to 5 people.
- Assist in the management of a significant portfolio of clients with over $1.6mil worth of fees including a mixture of private companies, family groups and high net worth individuals.
- Be active and present in networking and marketing the brand amongst peers.
What the individual must bring to this role:-
- Experience in supervising a team of accountants and handling client engagements with experience in managing sizeable businesses over $100mil in turnover
- Over 5-6 years of Business services experience bringing across the relevant knowledge and skills at this level
- Completion of the CA/CPA program
- Meeting and exceeding targets set by Directors
- Keen to manage a team and mentor them to become future leaders within the firm and industry
- A proactive and forward thinking nature, maturity as well as being able to work in a collaborative and friendly team environment
