HSEQ Advisor / Junior Business Partner
We’re partnering with a well-established Australian engineering and manufacturing business seeking an HSEQ Advisor ready to step into a Business Partner role.
This is a development-focused opportunity suited to someone with a solid foundation in HSEQ who’s looking to broaden their exposure across systems, audits and stakeholder engagement, with support from an experienced HSEQ leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Support leaders in meeting WHS, environmental and quality requirements
- Assist with incident investigations and follow-up actions
- Contribute to risk assessments, SOPs and risk register updates
- Support ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 systems and audit preparation
- Maintain HSEQ documentation and systems (e.g. Skytrust or similar)
- Help monitor HSEQ performance and reporting metrics
- Deliver toolbox talks and support training initiatives
- Assist with internal audits and external certification activities
- Support contractor compliance and site-based HSEQ requirements
About You
- Cert IV in WHS
- Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator training
- ~2-4 years’ experience in HSEQ within construction, engineering, manufacturing or similar
- Exposure to ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
- Some involvement in incident investigations and audits
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Proactive, hands-on and keen to develop into a broader HSEQ role
