Our client is a boutique practice located in West Perth that has been operating for a number of years and evolved to become a tech-savvy, proactive firm led by Directors with exceptional reputation. With a client base of private businesses, family groups, SME’s and small business owners, there is a clear focus on client relationship maintenance and growth. The company is seeking a Senior Accountant with similar beliefs and vision to join the firm and hit the ground running. Key attributes required

• A desire to help their clients improve through insight and customer service
• Excellent communication skills and seeking exposure to clients
• Enthusiasm for change management around systems and accounting packages
• A friendly team player who believes that working together with care and energy is the way to achieve success
• A mindset of continuous improvement and seeking opportunity
• Integrity, attention to detail and drive for high quality
• Consult on complex tax matters including Division 7A, CGT, FBT, GST
• Attendance to all compliance work for a variety of business entities

Key requirements 

• CA / CPA qualified or close to completion
• Experience managing client relationships
• 3+ years’ experience in tax and business services
• High proficiency with excel
• Background in a mid-tier or boutique practice

Accountants are provided direct engagement with their clients more than at most traditional accounting practices.
