Our Client
Our client is a Boutique Accounting practice based outside the CBD hub who have multiple Directors, each with a team of Accountants supporting a varied client base. As a part of their ongoing growth they are looking to add a Senior level tax and business services accountant to a Director’s team. The role requires a software savvy Accountant who has over 4 years working experience with Xero and MYOB and has knowledge of Spotlight and Castaway.

The Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- 4+ years experience
- CA/CPA qualified
- High level understanding of Div 7A, PSI, CGT for small business, Trusts and Corporate law matters
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in dealing with complex groups
- Working knowledge of MYOB, XERO, Castaway, Spotlight and ability to pick up and work on other softwares as required.
- Team player and collaborative personality
- Motivated to continue building a public practice career
Role and responsibilities:
- Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
- Working directly with clients and providing solutions on general tax matters.
- Providing assistance in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and researching tax matters where required.
- Liaising with and building relationships with clients, the ATO and other bodies as relevant and required.
- Providing advice to a large and varied client base.
