Mills Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Carpenter / Form Worker / Steel Fixer to join a well established Christchurch based contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial and residential foundation projects.
This is a hands‑on, physical role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a solid, reliable crew.
 
The Role You’ll be involved in a variety of foundation and construction tasks including:

• Formwork and concrete foundation preparation
• Steel fixing and reinforcement work
• General carpentry duties
• Commercial and residential projects across Christchurch
• Working safely on active construction sites

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in formwork, foundations, carpentry, or steel fixing – essential
• Confident working on both residential and commercial sites
• Own tools preferred (PPE can be supplied)
• Physically fit, reliable, and safety focused
• Strong work ethic and team attitude

What’s On Offer

• $26-$30 per hour, depending on experience
• Ongoing, full‑time work for the right candidates
