We’re recruiting on behalf of a well established, reputable Queenstown company with a strong forward workload and plenty happening on the ground. They’re looking to add a practical, experienced set of hands to their growing team.
This is not a project management role. It’s for someone who enjoys being on the tools, turning up each day to something different, and taking pride in quality workmanship.  You’ll be reporting to the Project Manager and supporting a mix of building, maintenance and repair work across residential and commercial sites.
 
The role:

• Carrying out hands on carpentry and general maintenance work
• Residential and commercial jobs, no two days the same
• Supporting active projects as directed by the Project Manager
• Maintenance, repairs, upgrades and small builds
• Working within a busy, well organised team with consistent work

What we’re looking for:

• Solid carpentry experience (qualified not essential)
• Strong practical skills and a get stuck in attitude
• Comfortable with variety and changing job requirements
• Able to work well as part of a team and take direction
• Reliable, motivated and keen for long-term work
• Full working rights in NZ and a valid NZ driver licence
