We are a growing civil construction company with a strong pipeline of works across Southland, and we’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Civil Labourer to join our team specialising in Micro Surfacing.
About the Role: This is a hands-on role working alongside an experienced crew delivering road maintenance and surfacing projects across the Invercargill region. You’ll be involved in all aspects of micro surfacing operations, helping ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with micro surfacing and road maintenance works
- Operating small plant and tools (training provided)
- Traffic management support when required
- General labouring duties on civil sites
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence (essential) Class 2 and or 4 preferred but not essential
- Previous civil or construction experience (preferred but not essential)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
