Whether you’re a Contracts Administrator with solid project experience behind you, a Senior CA ready to take on more, or a Contracts Manager who wants to stay close to the delivery end of the work, we’d like to hear from you.

The project has completed the bulk of its civils and structures work and is now moving into SMP and E&I. Procurement is largely wrapped up, so this sits firmly in the contract management and delivery phase, administering the packages that are already in place and managing them through to close-out.

What You’ll Be Doing

Scope will be pitched to your level, but broadly:

• End-to-end subcontract administration across live packages
• Preparing and issuing contractual correspondence, notices and extension of time submissions
• Managing entitlement, and administering claims and disputes through to resolution
• Administering progress claims and payment schedules in line with Security of Payment requirements
• Maintaining contract records, registers and reporting
• Supporting the project team as it transitions from civils and structures into SMP and E&I packages
• Working alongside delivery and engineering teams to keep contractual issues moving rather than stalling

What You’ll Bring

• Contracts administration experience on construction or infrastructure projects — level and depth negotiable
• Working knowledge of standard construction contracts and the Security of Payment framework
• Confidence drafting clear contractual correspondence that holds up under scrutiny
• A genuinely process-oriented approach — this project runs bespoke project management systems, and people who work methodically within a defined process do well here
• SMP and E&I package experience is an advantage
• Availability to start immediately or at short notice

More senior applicants should be comfortable managing packages independently and mentoring less experienced team members.
Location & Working Arrangements This is a site-based role in Perth’s northern suburbs, and that’s a firm requirement.

• Full-time on site is strongly preferred
• The most flexibility available is 3 days site, 1 day CBD, 1 day working from home
• Maximum 1 day per week working from home
• Full-time CBD-based arrangements will not be considered

Getting there: the site is around 45km north of the Perth CBD, with on-site parking available. If you’d rather not drive, it’s roughly 45 minutes by train from Perth, and the project runs a scheduled shuttle bus between the nearest station and site.
