The Role
 
With ongoing project demand, our client is seeking a reliable Welder to join their established team. This role will involve a mix of workshop-based fabrication and on-site installation work, so flexibility to travel is essential.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring all welding and fitting work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Welding structural steel to specification
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Fabrication, fitting, and assembly of components
• Supporting installation work on-site when required
• Maintaining strong health & safety practices
• Working closely with an experienced team

About You

• NZ Level 4 Fitting or Welding trade qualification
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with medium to heavy structural steel
• Strong welding and fitting capability
• Ability to confidently read and work from plans
• Welding tickets or willingness to obtain them 
• Reliable, motivated, and proactive attitude
• Willingness to travel across the South Island
